CONPUTE Sales Manager (Oshawa)

CONPUTE is looking for an individual to manage and build a team of Business Development Managers and Inside Sales Representatives providing coaching, direction, process and leadership while creating an engaging and rewarding work environment.   Candidates must have 5+ years progressive sales management experience preferably with a College Diploma or University Degree.

Successful applicants will motivate the individual team members to meet and exceed personal as well as team targets. Effectively plans daily, weekly and monthly goals for assigned team and account base, coordinating activities of the team to achieve company goals and objectives.  The Sales Manager will also recruit and manage larger strategic accounts.

Working with Services, the Sales Manager will develop joint strategies for improving development of delivery processes including pre-sales and marketing initiatives.

Candidates require experience in the following:

  • Proven presentation skills with the ability to effectively explain, negotiate and/or persuade at all levels (i.e. associate, management, executive)
  • Ability to develop business plans to leverage knowledge of competitive landscape, industry and organizational objectives
  • Developing and managing demand generation activities through various marketing techniques
  • Effective communication with the ability to give and receive information accurately in an articulate and professional manner
  • Ability to read relatively complex material including spreadsheets, funnel reports, financial statements, etc.

CONPUTE - Jr. Riggers (Ontario, Western Canada)

CONPUTE's C-Wireless team is growing and working on exciting wireless broadband builds across Ontario and into areas in Western Canada. We are looking for riggers who have experience in broadband wireless applications and have had some formal training and or certification with working at heights, preferably using Industrial Rope Access Trade Association (IRATA) guidelines. Most work is outdoors and in all seasons, with some heavy lifting required. Our projects are challenging, offering great learning opportunities with room for growth in the company.

CONPUTE riggers get to work on government led initiatives and private builds bringing high speed internet to rural and remote locations. Successful candidates will work with steel and composite tower technology in addition to multiple wireless radio technologies.

Experience with heavy machinery, rigging and lifting systems and/or tower construction is an asset, along with basic computer skills including spreadsheets, word processing and standard Internet applications.
